After more than 25 years in the industry, Steven brought together the best practices he has learned to establish Compass Homes, building custom homes, speculative homes, rental properties, and thoughtfully designed niche developments.
Guided by his Christian faith, Steven strives to treat people with respect, pursue excellence with humility, and create communities that have a lasting positive impact. He and his wife, Sara, are proud parents of two daughters, Danni and Kennedi, and family continues to inspire his commitment to designing homes where families thrive together.
For Roger Bauer, homebuilding is a calling, rooted in family, faith, and a commitment to craftsmanship. Inspired by his grandfather, a master carpenter, Roger learned the values of precision, integrity, and attention to detail, principles he brings to every project.
With hands-on experience in fix-and-flip projects, general contracting, and new home construction, Roger ensures that every Compass Homes project meets the highest standards of quality and design. His background in business and leadership, including 20 years in executive
roles and managing teams of up to 40, allows him to combine practical expertise with strategic insight.
Roger’s faith, leadership, and construction experience make him one of the cornerstones of Compass Homes, building not just houses, but enduring homes and communities.
He and his wife, Amie, have been married for 15 years and are proud parents to four sons Andrew, Zach, Brayden, and Johnathan.
